Me voilà nouvelle sur ce site et bien heureuse d'en faire partie!
Quelqu'un pourrait il m'aider à:

- Trouver des cours de langue Khmer (pas trop cher) à Paris?
- la signification de "SAN" ?

Ou ecris le avec l'alphabet khmer, tu le scannes, tu le met sur le forum et je te le trouve dans le dico ! :lol:

M. Sodadeth,

Je vous confirme que le mot « SAN » ne veut absolument rien dire, c’est un nom propre.

Par contre si vous rajoutez Sok+San, cela devient en un seul mot « Soksan » qui veut dire Paix, calme ou tranquillité. Voila, quelques explications pour vous éclaircir ce mot.

Soksan me parle bien, ça fait plaisir même si...ce n'est pas tout à fait "San"! Mais ce n'est pas grave...par contre,
Merci beaucoup Seun nmott, avoir pris la peine de m'expliquer avec l'écriture, mais malheureusement je ne sais pas lire le Khmer!

Tant que j'y suis, quelqu'un saurait ce que veut dire les prénoms: "Seida" ou "Saida" (féminin) et "Deth"(masculin)? Je ne les ai pas trouvé sur le site qui donne la traduction des prénoms Khmer...alors je tente par là!

Pour Seida, je ne pense pas qu'il y a un sens, pas contre Séda qui se réfère au nom de Preah neang Séda, femme de Rama, dont la beauté est universelle. Ou erreur de prononciation?
Attention ce n'est saïda.

Deth n'a pas de sens en khmer.

Par contre c'est un prénom vient de notre voisin d'Ouest.
