KUALA LUMPUR : The AFC President’s Cup et le Challenge Cup Organising Committee ont attribué pour la seconde edition de l' AFC President’s Cup au Cambodge. Le tournoi se jouera du 10 au 20 mai dont l'événement prendra place à Phnom Penh dès le 23 mars.

La décision a été prise aujourd'hui après la réunion sous la présidence de M. Nasser Nawamooz, président du Comité.

Les huit pays partcipants – Bhutan, Chinese Taipei, Cambodge, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka et Tajikistan. Les équipes seront divisées en de deux groupes de quatre et les deux premiers de chaque poule seront qualifiés pour la finale.

Les clubs particpants sont : Transport United (Bhutan), Tatung (Chinese Taipei), Khemara (Cambodia), Dordoi-Dynamo (Kyrgyzstan), Pakistan Army (Pakistan), Ratnam Sports Club (Sri Lanka) et FC Vakhsh (Tajikistan). Le nom du club qui représentera le Nepal ne sera connu qu'à la fin du championnat du pays.

Khemara est éliminé du tournoi...

Ils ont été battu en demi-finale de l'AFC President's Cup par le Dordoi-Dynamo sur le score de 3-0.

Je n'ai pas beaucoup de renseignement mais voici une photo prise lors du match de poule qui a permis à l'équipe de Khemara d'accéder en demi finale...

Le match s'est terminé sur le score de "un partout" !

Dordoi-Dynamo vainqueur du Vakhsh enlève L'AFC President’s Cup hier soir pour l'édition 2006.

Choe Ung Chon le joueur de Khemara finit 3ème meilleur buteur du tournoi.
