L’AFCADI (association loi 1901) a été créée le 27 avril 2003 sous l’impulsion du Directeur de l’ITC et de membres fondateurs franco cambodgiens travaillant dans des entreprises françaises. De nombreuses actions se sont développées (dons de livres EDF, bourses aux étudiants, appui à l’association des anciens étudiants de l’ITC, …)

Une délégation de membres de l’AFCADI, dont le Président et le Secrétaire Général, sera présente à l’ITC du 15 au 20 novembre 2004. A cette occasion, une cérémonie de signature d’un accord de coopération, de remise de livres EDF et de séminaires scientifiques de perfectionnement des cadres des établissements de formation, des entreprises et des ministères seront organisés à l’ITC.

ALCATEL qui vient de signer un accord de coopération avec l’ITC participera à ces séminaires.

Les séminaires se dérouleront entre le lundi 15 et le jeudi 18 novembre de 8h à 12h et de 14h à 17h30 selon le calendrier et la brochure de présentation ci-joints.

L’accès aux séminaires sera gratuit pour les cadres des établissements de formation et des ministères. Une participation forfaitaire de 50US$ par participant et par séminaire sera demandée aux entreprises qui recevront des supports écrits de formation.

Jean Claude PENNANEC’H has more than 34 years experience in Telecommunication Industry. He was Vice President of Alcatel, Responsible for several important management projects leading to the strategic development of Alcatel products.

He will highlight the general Issues related to the deployment of Services in Telecom Networks. He will also present the evolution of the Architecture of Telecom Network

• from 1960 to 1990
• from 1990 to 2000
• from 2000 to today.

The objective of his speech is to give you a very first introduction to two basic domains pertinent to Telecom Network in general :
- The services aspects and
- The Network Architecture.

By Christian DURET
Christian has more than 30 years experience in Telecommunication and was a Telecom Expert of France Telecom. He was involved in several important Telecom projects, such as the design of Digital and Broadband Switching Systems, the design of high bit rate data Systems and their implementation in QoS capable IP networks.

He will highlight the Structure of the Telephony Network with more emphasis on the organization of the Networks and aspects related to the basic signalling protocols needed to support services to be deployed in :
• Fixed Telephony Network,
• Mobile Telephony network,
• Multimedia serving Networks.

He will describe the Signalling System Number 7 and its applications using in the today Digital Telecom Networks. This system has been used in :
• Integrated Service Digital Network (ISDN),
• 2G and 3G Mobile networks,
• Intelligent Networks to support Fixed or Mobile Services.

Seminar 2 : ATM : Asynchronous Transfer Mode

Speech in : Khmer, French or English

He will describe the whole story about this Transport Technology intended to be used to support Broadband Multimedia applications and services.

The objectives of his presentation are threefold :
• Understanding the basic characteristics of ATM,
• Usage of ATM in Telecom Networks,
• Understanding the notion of Quality of Service in Telecom Network.

6. Wednesday November 17 : Session 1, 2, 3 & 4

By Daravith KHO
Daravith is Telecom Engineer Expert in Wireless Communication Systems. He is currently working on OMAP Software Architecture & Advanced projects for 2G, 2.5G and 3G Mobile Systems. He has been working for Texas Instrument in France, since 1997.
He is active member and one of the founders of AFCADI.

Presentation title in French :

Seminar 3 : Réseaux GSM - DCS

Speech in : Khmer, French or English

He will describe the Second Generation Mobile System currently used in the World.

His presentation will focus more on :
• Mobile radio system principles,
• Architecture of GSM and DCS Networks,
• Speech coding,
• Different Radio Channels,
• Mobility aspects : Roaming and Handover.

By Albane Veuve
Albane is Architect from Paris Architecture University.
She is active member of AFCADI.

She will present the basic principles of the modern Architecture in today World.

8. Thursday November 18 : Session 2, 3 & 4

By Alain Veuve

Alain Veuve has been working for 35 years and has been involved in several important projects in Building, Public Transport and Construction Infrastructure. He is serving as Director, Responsible for a number of important projects in France and abroad for VINCI, a World Leader Company in BTP.
He is active member and one of the founders of AFCADI.

Alain will present the different facets related to the management of important projects of Transport Infrastructure and their different steps, based on his 35 years experience in the BTP :

• Business plan (from Law and financing aspects),
• Realization (from Bid launching, Project planning, Project follow-up, Quality control, Health et Security planning, Project delivery, Acceptance control and Warrantee aspects etc..)
