La possibilité d'écrire en khmer si ce sera possible. n'est accordé que dans la rubrique concernant l'apprentissage de cette langue, pas ailleurs, comme a précisé Vicheya auparavant.
Si l'introduction de cette possibilité perturbe le site, il est hors de question de ...

quelqu'un peut me dire quel font ou caractère khmer il me faut encore pour lire ces pages?
sur la page d'accueil google.com.kh, chez un ami,je peux lire en khmer, mais chez moi,il donne ça

www.google.com.kh uses Khmer Unicode. If you don't have Khmer Unicode installed you can't view the website correctly. You can get Khmer Unicode from any of the following :
- www.khmeros.info, click on "Prepare your computer for Unicode"
- http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/khmer/KhmerUnicode1.2.5.FindUsp.exe?download
- http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=133361 : Find Khmer Unicode Installer

After downloading the file, you can install it (just double click and follow the instructions). If anything wrong please respond me. I am please to help.

I strongly suggest everybody to use Khmer Unicode in order to participate in cambodian information technology.

Have you ever noticed about Vietnamese fonts, Thai fonts, chinese fonts...etc, for example :

You can view the sites without installation of their fonts. Because their fonts come with Wondows Operating System. See ? they have one step before us. They already registered their font with Microsoft Windows.

In cooperation with Microsoft, the next version of windows includes Khmer Unicode. I mean Windows Vista, if you have Windows Vista, you can simply view Khmer Unicode.


For www.everyday.com.kh : you can view some khmer characters (Limon) because, I think, they embeded the font. And I am not sure why you can't view some other parts of that site. May be they use different style or something.

The simple way of viewing the khmer font is :
get the font from my attachment file and copy it to "C:\WINDOWS\Fonts"

As I can't attach two files a time, this is another font for limon.
Copy and past it to "C:\WINDOWS\Fonts"

Depuis près de 10 ans, je cherche ce qui existe comme polices khmères... même si je ne peux sais (ou pas encore) les lire. Quoi qu'il en soit, j'ai composé une page avec toutes mes découvertes. C'est évidemment loin d'être fini. Les prochaines étapes sont la création d'exemples pour les polices non-unicodes, et la possibilité de télécharger les polices qui
ont disparu du web.
