PHNOM PENH, Nov 8, 2003 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- Vietnam Trade Fair in Cambodia 2003 opened here Saturday at the National Cultural Center. Over 120 booths of nearly 100 enterprises are exhibiting products including autoparts, chemicals, construction materials, cosmetics, food, beverages and garments at the fair. The five-day fair, organized by Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE), will create chances for Vietnamese and Cambodian enterprises to exchange experience, seek partners, promote trade development, thus making significant contributions to the two countries' trade, tourism and investment, said Phan The Rue, vice minister of trade of Vietnam, in his opening speech here Saturday. Trading relationship between Cambodia and Vietnam has been extended and developed continuously. During the first eight months this year, import-export figures recorded by customs authorities of the two countries was 126 million US dollars, almost the figure of the whole year 2002.
